The name of the Amethyst Initiative is derived from the Greek legend of the assault on Amethyst by the drunk god Dionysus.

Dating. It can be exciting, awkward and so much more. The rules of dating are so complex that not even Merriam-Webster could come up with a concrete definition.
But, while various definitions to describe relationships and dating, change between generations and individuals, it is still a ritual practiced by almost everyone today.

Pirate Rants are good for many different reasons.
Students can anonymously let out complaints about peers, write cute little love notes or point out bizarre things that go on around campus.
Over the past few months, several Pirate Rants have given students a reason to speculate a peculiar event that takes place at night at the North Campus Crossing apartment complex.

The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) sat down for dinner together as usual on Oct. 30. However, there was one key difference from their normal meals: they were seated around a row of tables set up in the house of Rabbi Eli Backman.

Tell me about your hometown.
I live in Front Royal, Virginia. It's the northernmost town in the Shenandoah Valley, which is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains- which are part of the Appalachian Mountains. It's pretty back woods, kind of backward, but it's a great little place.
