Philip Martin Naberhaus was born Nov. 11 at 3:21 a.m. weighing seven pounds and eight ounces, with a length of 21.

At 11:00 p.m. on November 4, the shoulder-to-shoulder crowd at Goucher's Gopher Hole Coffee House stood up and screamed with delight at the large-screen TV as CNN announced that Senator (D-IL) Barack Obama was the next President of the United States.

From that moment, up until his historic acceptance speech, spontaneous eruptions of "Yes we can!" broke out and complete strangers were hugging each other with tears in their eyes.

On Tuesday evening directly following the release of the election results there was an incident where Mount students supporting President-elect Obama reportedly exchanged insults with student-supporters of Senator John McCain.

Lincoln University students erupted in celebration early Wednesday morning to observe Senator Barack Obama's victory over Senator John McCain in the presidential election.
